In December of 2019, 8:20 was performed for the first time at Gustavus Adolphus College as an honors project for the founder, Maddie Burnham. From here, 8:20 Dance Company was created.
In March 2019, we had the pleasure to have our very first professional performance as 8:20 Dance Company at The Southern Theater in Minneapolis, MN. Good Night at the Southern Theater was a perfect way to come into the dance scene in the cities.
We were selected to perform again that year at Gustavus in ACDA as well as the spring dance concert. Being able to continue showcasing this piece was a blessing. Wrapping up the year with the Spring Dance Concert in May of 2019 and having our first professional performance at The Southern Theater in March of 2019 was like watching all of our dreams come true.
