Chloe Brown
Apprentice Company Member
Chloe took her first dance class at the age of five and has been dancing ever since. She has experience with many different dance styles including ballet, modern, jazz, and tap. Chloe took her first modern class in 2019 and it quickly became her favorite type of dance because of the unique movements and forms of expression. 8:20 Dance Company specifically caught her eye because of its focus on modern dance, as well as providing an opportunity to peek into the professional dance world and what dancing after high school or as a career could possibly look like in the future.
Leia Deboer
Apprentice Company Member
Leia has been dancing since she was 3. She’s taken all types of dance, including modern, jazz, and ballet. She also enjoys competitive dancing for the Waconia Lakettes. She took a break from dance for several years while competing in gymnastics but returned to do something she loves. Ever since she watched 8:20, she knew she wanted to try out the Apprentice Company. It’s been such an amazing experience for her, and she’s learned so much from it.
Emma Fisher
Apprentice Company Member
Emma could not imagine life without dance. Her mom signed her up for classes when she was six years old and it’s been her favorite activity ever since. She has ten years of experience in styles of jazz and multiple forms of modern, each one shaping her as a dancer and as a person. Dance has built her confidence, given her a space to express her emotions, and continues to bring her joy. She joined 8:20 Dance Company fall of 2024 and has loved every second of it. She is excited to continue growing her skill set while exploring new modern styles alongside such a talented group of dancers. When she isn’t dancing, Emma enjoys reading, building Legos, and spending time at church.
